RL Music is delighted to tell you that we are working very closely with Ken Macbeth to bring you the latest development of his legendary M5 synthesizer – the new M5N.
The M5N semi-modular synthesizer represents the evolution and perfection of the original M5 and features a number of enhancements and upgrades which were implemented by Ken after careful consideration to customer feedback and new ideas from his own thoughts about the instrument. Details of the original specification and the changes to the M5N can be seen in the “specification” section of our Macbeth minisite.
We have some pictures and even a short video of the man himself and hope to be bringing you some more dedicated MP3’s and further photo’s shortly. As with the original M5, we believe this is among the finest modular synthesizers ever made and a classic straight off the bat, and Ken Macbeth’s attention to detail and love of his work is beautifully reflected in this amazing synthesizer - the M5N.
This instrument is built to order and although there are no indications of the manufacturing quantities planned, we would recommend you take the opportunity now to order your own machine.
