The new Mellotron MkVI is supplied with 3 sounds or “Tape Sets” populated into the Tape Frame and installed prior to shipping. Customers can order any three Tape Sets from the [
Mellotron] & [
Chamberlin] Library . . please click on the tape reel icons below left to listen to the available sounds.
Tape Set:
A spool of tape using one of the listed Library sounds. This is not fitted to the frame and if purchased on its own, the user would install the tape into the frame themselves.

Tape Frame:
The chassis on which the Tape Sets are installed.
The Chassis does not have any tape installed.
Each additional Tape Frame = £196
Mellotron can also fit the Tape Sets into the Tape Frame to create a fully populated Rack.
