Unless otherwise stated, all items are sold with a 28-day warranty from date of purchase for material defects in components only. Cosmetic condition is made clear prior to purchase either by the website description and pictures or by viewing the item by appointment only. Cosmetic defects are therefore not covered by any warranty and are sold "as seen."
In the event that an item develops a defect within the 28-day warranty period, the customer must return the item to RL Music's premises in Reading. RL Music will then arrange a full repair & test of the item and contact the customer when the unit is available to be collected from our premises. Any costs associated with the repair of the customers unit will be covered under the terms of this warranty and will be free of charge.
No warranty will be offered to any item transported from RL Music by UK or international courier at the customer's request. All overseas customers requiring shipping will also not be covered by this warranty.

As we are a small company we are not able to accept credit or debit cards directly but will accept payment by the following means:
Cash - Personal Cheque - PayPal (online payment transaction service, add 5% surcharge) - Bankers Draft - Bank wire transfer.
We can accept a "holding" deposit to secure certain items but deposits are non-refundable so please do not enter into a commitement to purchase unless you are able to pay in full and within 4 weeks of the item(s) being stated by RL Music as being ready for collectionor delivery. |

RL Music can arrange all courier and shipping services to our customer's. Prior to purchase of a stock item, we will advise the customer of the cost for this service and the final bill of sale will be calculated to include shipping to their door and any professional packaging fees incurred. The customer must provide full contact and delivery address details and any special instructions before a quote can be established for this service.
IMPORTANT: Due to the rare nature, age and value of the items sold, RL Music does not recommend using couriers/shipping companies but we understand that sometimes this may be the only option available to our customers.

Customers are welcome to collect their purchases from our Reading premises. Alternately, RL Music can arrange delivery by us anywhere in the Mainland UK but all reasonable expenses and a mileage fee of 25p per mile will be charged. By using RL Music to hand deliver your purchases you can be assured that the item will arrive in perfect condition and still be covered by our 28 day warranty.
When RL Music provides a specific date for collection for customer’s instrument then there will be a maximum 7 day period from this date for the customer to arrange collection otherwise a storage charge will be applied at £10 per day thereafter up to a maximum of 90 days. If the item purchased on deposit or paid in full has not been collected after 90 days then RL Music reserves the right to re-advertise the item for general sale and no refund will be applicable. Also, the warranty period offered and agreed on the particular instrument will become effective from the 7 days after the collection date as indicated as available by RL Music. There will be no exceptions to these terms. |
