Came into stock:<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n December 2023<\/p>\n Service Status:<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n A full service was carried out by Ben Rossborough at Cyberwave EMS in November 2023, including it being retrofitted with the 80017A VCF VCA Juno-106 voice chip Filter IC clones from Analogue Renaissance.<\/p>\n Remarks:\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n Without any doubt a true vintage synth and a very useable and practical analogue polysynth keyboard for live use as well as studio.\u00a0 <\/span>The is among the first factory fitted MIDI synths from Roland in the early 80s, and with its on-board effects (chorus) and a really warm 24db\/Oct filter, it sounds (and is) really retro whilst the DCO\u2019s provide strong tuning stability.<\/p>\n The more advanced MIDI control on the 106 (SysEx) means you can use external patch-editors (Mac & PC) although in truth it\u2019s not all that complex to program from the front panel…which is a big part of the joy of owing a vintage synth like this.<\/p>\n Background:<\/b><\/p>\n Our client purchased this many years ago, and the Juno 106 had only ever been used at his home but they now work abroad so the synth had been stored away for some time.
