Remarks: A unique opportunity to own a very rare Polyfusion Surround-A-Sound QP-1 stand-alone effects module in great all original condition.
Pink Floyd used these devices in their live set up for quadraphonic audio effect/control etc., and can also be used to control CV the same way with any modular synth. Polyfusion did build the functionality of this quad-control into their keyboard controllers but it was rare to find these stand-alone units.
It’s believe that only a couple of hundred of these were ever made by Polyfusion back in the mid to late 1970s,
Th unit features an ‘auto and manual’ mode. Auto mode uses a built-on LFO to which is controlled by a Panning (forward or reverse), Speed and Depth knobs. Manual mode is activated by the joystick.
This Surround-A-Sound QP-1 operates on US 110V – it will be sold with a 3 month warranty.
As with all Brokered Sales, the Surround-A-Sound will be fully serviced post-sale before it’s sent to its new owner. We do this to ensure that the instrument leaves us in perfect operational condition, and it is backed up by our full warranty to give the new owner complete peace of mind. The servicing is carried out as a priority once the the sale has been completed, and although it will delay shipping/delivery by a short time, we know from experience that customers are happy to wait.
