We are Brokering this Roland SH-7 for and on their behalf of our UK customer.

Remarks: Roland certainly don’t make them like this anymore – a beautifully built and specified vintage synth that delivers delicious analogue-warmth and/or some edgy tones for dance applications – a sonic package that can easily compete with any modern analogue system, and its duo-phonic.

These wonderful vintage synths are so hard to find these days in really fine condition, so when an customer contacted us about selling their immaculate example which they bought brand new in the late 1970s from Rose Morris in Denmark Street (London UK), we became very excited. Most of these models being offered are pretty tatty these days, and most come from overseas buyers with lots of cosmetic flaws. This 220V example was purchased in the UK and has been lovingly cared for for nearly 40 years at the owners home, and the condition really shows.

The SH-7 (and SH-5) share a great deal in design ethos with the System 100, and packed in an awful lot of features for your money. Production of the SH-7 stopped around the time the Jupiter 8 started, so the digital age has arrived at Roland by then, leaving these pure analogue music machines to history. The SH-7 never reached the iconic status of say the Minimoog or Arp Odyssey, but we wonder if Roland were just doing there own thing with these models, and we feel the world is a better place because of that. We also think these are set to be highly collectable synths, and with prices being subdued at the moment, we feel this is a good opportunity to get your hands on a ‘one owner only’ UK supplied example as a keeper!

As with all Brokered Sales, the synth will be fully serviced post-sale before, it’s sent to its new owner. We do this to ensure that the instrument leaves us in perfect operational condition, and it is backed up by our full warranty to give the new owner complete peace of mind. The servicing is carried out as a priority once the the sale has been completed, and although it will delay shipping/delivery by a short time, we know from experience that customers are happy to wait.

This SH-7 operates on EU 220V. This synth is being sold with a full 3 month warranty post-servicing.
